Nandeesh Nikshith, an 8 month old child has been brought to Fortis Hospital with the condition of complex congenital heart disease. The child was badly needed an open heart surgery to save himself. After pre-operative evaluation and consent Nandeesh underwent Intra cardiac repair. The complexity of the surgery put the baby on prolonged ventilation. The child also developed sepsis with blood stream infection. But along with the medical expertise god’s hand was upon him that he miraculously recovered after 82 days of the ICU.
He was admitted and operated on 13th November 2015 and discharged on 1st February 2016. Thanks to the medical expertise of Dr.Joseph Xavier and his team, all the well-wishers and partners.
