MAJOR INTERVENTIONS

The needy heart foundation has adopted a multi stakeholder strategy to intervene in the life of poor heart patients and bring them to life from the point of death or disability. The Foundation has been supporting patients across the country.

From the inception of the foundation it has made a major contribution in reaching out to the hopelessly poor heart patients. It has crossed over 1800 heart surgeries during this span of time and major beneficiaries were children, young mothers and bread earners. These efforts had been a successful because of the good will of considerable number of socially responsible people and organizations and many families concerned.

The needy heart foundation has been leading by example for the last few years by treating patients from the lower socio economical background with an objective of preventing finance from being a hurdle in the treatment process. It strives to achieve its vision – to eliminate deaths due to heart disease, for lack of money or knowledge.
